The Legends Grill CT Foundation is a charitable organization set up to provide and promote sports education, training, and participation within the local community. Populations that will benefit from this foundation’s generosity will be sports-centered organizations who call Connecticut their home.
“We make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give”
The Foundation will be proud to offer donors a wide range of Connecticut-based organizations dedicated to providing opportunity and encouragement for people of all ages and abilities in building self-esteem and promoting wellbeing through sports.
100% of all proceeds raised from our yearly Gala Banquet including “Golf & Poker Tournament’s” and Retail Merchandising go directly toward supporting our Foundation and approved Connecticut charities
Administrative and overhead costs involved in organizing and carrying out our fundraising events are absorbed solely through the restaurant.
Individuals or groups interested in becoming part of our philanthropic mission can make a direct donation to the Foundation, set up payroll deduction through their employer’s workplace giving program or volunteer their time to assist us with any event we participate in
The Foundation is governed by a board of directors that includes representatives from the foundation, member charities, donor groups, and other constituencies. All board members are volunteers serving without compensation. The board of directors oversees the administration of services to Foundation member agencies and ensures that the highest eligibility standards are maintained. Gifts made directly to the Legends Grill Foundation are shared among all its local member agencies in the same proportion. Some of the charitable groups Legends Grill CT would like to champion are The Connecticut Children’s Hospital, Strike Three Foundation, Connecticut Sports Foundation and the Ryan Martin Foundation to name a few.
